Injuries of Eduardo, Kranjcar, Krizanac, Pletikosa (4 starters), bad form of Petric and Rakitic and bad tactical choise with Juric took its tole.

Ukraine play very well, maybe should have got a penalty. Two goals for us very lucky but we hit 2 posts and were closer to victory.

Belarus is back in it, we have to beet them at home and take more points in games vs Blr(A) and Eng (A) then Ukraine takes in games vs Blr (A) and Eng (H). If we match each other, gol difference will decide.

We played very bad for most of the game, but with our 4 top players coming back I’m optimistic.

Why do you say “escape”? I was quite impressed with some of Ukraine’s movement. Considering we were without Aliyev, the midfield looked very solid. I thought we played well and deserved 3 points. O. Hai put in a great shift. Shevchenko’s goal was a model of beauty and simplicity.

We played well in some aspects, no doubt, but after Modric made it 2-2 the next goal was only getting scored in our net. Our counterattack was just laughable near the end.

Yevy, this is going to be quite an exciting final run to second place. Any changes you see to the lineup?

With Sheva presumably out Voronin should get another chance up front. We have to make up some of the goal difference against the Kazakhs, so I expect us to use just one holding mid, Tymoschuk. That means Gai sitting and someone like Kalynychenko playing from the start. We are short on creative midfielders in the squad at the moment, so hopefully Mykhaylichenko will recall Devic, Husyev, or Kravchenko.

Haha I wanna love, we were without Husyev, Mikhalik, Aliev, Pashaiev, Fedoriv (5 starters), so please no excuses. Croatia just played bad and we deserved to win. Milevskyi was fouled in the penalty area, and the referee didn’t see it. But I thought in the end if we have the same points than Croatia, de head-to-head decides, doesn’t it???? Aren’t I wrong?

All in All a great game from our sight. For me it’s just a kind of unbelievable how such high class players like Kucher and Piatov manage it to make such horrible mistakes. Piatov played just great yesterday if you delete the first 3 minutes. Kucher also stood his man except in 2-3 situations. If we finally stop to produce so horrible mistakes and our players stop to get injured every time they get a call for the national team, we gonna kill England in Dnipropetrovsk. On Wednesday I wanna see a high win (minimum 4:0) for our guys. Let Voronin and Milevskyi play up front, with Nazarenko, Rotan and Kalinichenko and Tymocha in the middle play. We will have 11 points and soon a better goal difference if you consider that we gonna play Andorra 2 times.

It’s goal difference, then goals scored before head to head comes into play.

super, so as I remember Croatia already played twice against Andorra, great. We must win against Andorra away at least 4-0 and at home 6-0. and against Kazakhstan also 4-0. So we will be through in the end.
