Ukraine Negotiating for Ghana Friendly

With the World Cup less than three months away, Ukraine continues to look for ways to get prepared. It has been reported in the Ghana press that the African team is trying to arrange a friendly with Ukraine in May. I’m not sure what the thinking is with this one. Ukraine need to face competition but Ghana doesn’t play like any of its group opponents. I also cringe at the thought of our top players having to go up against a dangerous tackler like Michael Essien. I am all in favor of friendlies, but this is one that I hope Ukraine pass on.
