Ukraine is back !

Ukraine gets back on its feet and creates a spectacular and dominant performance over Saudi Arabia with a 4-0 victory. Simply magnificant. In my opinion, the player of the match was Kalinchenko.

yes very good stuff, a bit shaky in defence (but then again we arent playing our normal defence), its good that blohin finally plays milevskiy, would be nice to have seen Chingrinskiy out there too, he was tremendous potential, but, I guess not this time. I wanted milevskiy to get a goal in his first performance.. ah well, I am happy. Good show..

Good result… as it should be. They are now even in the +/- category. Their fate is in their own hands. Win on Friday and they’re in.

This is indeed the Ukraine we all know and love. The team plays well when they want to play.

I was thinking maybe the weather conditions had something to do with a better performance. It was nice and cool.

whew! that was so much better. I felt much like the booing fans after that last miserable showing, and am relieved to see they can really pull it together. That header goal was so nice!

Yeah, indeed that was way better, however our attack wasted so many great opportunities.. that was sort-of sad. Had they scored everything, it would have been a 10-0 game, at least.

Tunisia – Ukraine will be one hell of a game for sure.

Yes, there was some waste. But this happens in every game. No team can put away every chance. The important thing was that they kept creating those chances. It wasn’t like they had only 4 shots and all 4 went in.

That’s true. However I doubt they will have simillar luxury in the upcoming game.

Defense played pretty much flawless (with exception of that one moment when Saudi player managed to make a cross, when the ball almost went out).

Also, how are we on yellow cards? I noticed that our defense picked up two? unnecessery cards.

rad|x, I suggest you rewatch the first half of the saudi game… the defence isnt where it should be still… if they play like that against tunisia and thier fast players then the outcome will be pretty bad.

But midfield was amazing… forwards were good but still the passing could improve..

Over all this was what ukriane needed and played the whole 90 mins of the game. Good job but lets focus on tunisia.

I got to watch only 30 mins of the second half :( ATI’s latest software updates are to blame. From What I saw (and I may be wrong) the teams were playing even, as in UKR had to vverk to score. I was under impression (when I was listening to the feed) that we were giving saudis hell.
Damn you ATI!!! go YKPAIHA

Players of the game, definitely kalinchenko, he made so many nice chips into the box in the free kicks and he played a hard fought game. Also Nesmanchy deserves some credit for once again an outstanidng performance, Nesmanchy and Tymoschyuk have to be the best hustlers for ukraine, they fight the hardest out there!

Sche ne vmerla Ukraina! – Ukraine is not dead yet! (from Ukraine’s national anthem)
This was a great team, finally one could see them fighting every ball, although i think big part of it was Saudi’s playing very bad. We will still need to improve to beat Tunisia who kept Spanish down for 75 minutes. Psycologically very important game.

I guess we musn’t be very optimistic before the last game with Tunisia. ’cause it’s 2 different teams – SA and Tunisisa though they are both African…

Drewkha, with all due respect, Saudi Arabia is definetly not African. I guess you wouldn’t like if someone says that Urkaine is in Asia or Africa, so i think it’s not fair to Saudi people.
