Ukraine arrange Costa Rica friendly

The Ukrainian National Team have scheduled a friendly, with the “Ticos”, or Costa Rica.

The game will be played in Kyiv, Ukraine, on the 28th of May. And unfortunatly, since NSK Olimpiysky (the biggest stadium in Ukraine at an 84 000 capacity) is being renovated, less then half of it, 41 000 to be exact, can be filled.

It’s good to prepare against a team like Costa Rica, but I really would’ve liked if they played in the city of L’viv – Which is undoubtedly the place in Ukraine which best supports the national team, but for some strange reason, never really gets to host many national team games.

The Costa Rica game is Ukraines first friendly in a series of a few before the World Cup, and I really do hope our team wins – As they always seem to get into little grooves, and I don’t want to be in a “loosing groove” before the World Cup.
