Injured Serhiy Fedorov Out of World Cup

A tough blow for Ukraine with news that defender Serhiy Fedorov has been ruled out for the World Cup. The 31-year-old Dynamo Kiev player has been withdrawn from the roster because of a hip injury that is expected to keep him out for three months. No replacement has been named yet and it will be interesting to see what Blokhin does to fill this hole in the backline.
