Since Spain rallied late, a draw against Ukraine does nothing for Tunisia. I think they will come out looking to attack, and if our defenders can weather a surge in the beginning, we will have a good chance to progress. If Ukraine can strike first, this would be an excellent insurance policy. Tunisia would know that they need to score twice to advance – and this can deflate their spirits.

The way things stand, a draw would most likely get us through. Even if Spain plays possum against Saudi Arabia, the Saudis would need to win by 4 goals to force a tie-break with Ukraine.

Kalinichenko performed great! It’s a revealation for me. I hope Blohin will let him play next game.
The game against Tunisia is gonna be tough, they are as eager to qualify as we are and they seem to be in a good shape, judging from the game against Spain , different league than Saudis. We will have to make sure our defence is solid and play our game. I’m going to watch it live in Berlin, will bring the atmosphere from the stadion.

I don;t think an early goal will help out this time. TUNa will be reviewing thei mistakes made with Spaniards, they will probably address the problem of “lack of effort” in the second half.
Blohin needs to flip the script again, however I liked the way we were playing midfield I think everyone agrees.

Tunisia is a much diffrent team then the saudis, I beleive the next match will be much more intense on our defence and im worried about that, we dont have that strong of a defence and the Tunisian forwards have the speed.

But I guess if we get an early goal and hold of the pressure of the first half we should do well.

I agree completely, Tunisia is a much stronger team, they were leading Spain there for a while, almost pulled off an upset, Spain came back late though, which is good for Ukraine

They need to come out in the same way against Tunisia. Nothing is settled yet. No sense getting too happy. I’m looking forward to a good work ethic and serious preparations for Tunisia.
