Ukraine have unveiled the jersey that Oleg Blohkin’s boys will be wearing at this summers World Cup.
As expected they will keep yellow as the primary colour but have added some funky blue stripes pivoting towards the crest in the centre. Lotto is the manufacturer and it should be available to purchase from July onwards.

Dynamo Kiev’s highly rated midfielder Oleh Gusev was named Ukrainian player of the year last month, narrowly edging out Anatoliy Tymoschuk and Matuzalem of Shaktar Donetsk. Gusev was an integral part of the team that helped Ukraine qualify for the World Cup in Germany, their first major tournament.

Ukraine Loses another Keeper

Yikes.
In a matter of a couple of weeks Ukraine’s two top keepers have gone done with injuries. First starter Olexander Shovkovsky broke his collarbone in a collision 10 days ago and now his backup Maxim Startsev has injured his groin (double yikes).
